TERMS & CONDITIONS

OUR CONTRACT You must send a completed booking form and the 20% trip deposit. A contract exists between us when we send you a booking confirmation.

PAYING The balance of the price must be paid on receipt of the final invoice, 4 weeks before commencement of trip. If this is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel the trip and keep your initial deposit.

TRIP PRICE is based on the fixed price shown on the page and confirmed at the time you book. We absorb any currency fluctuations so you pay only this published price shown in, and payable in, £sterling.

CANCELLATION POLICY :
  • If you must cancel for any reason, the deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE*
  • Full refund, less deposit, will be given with at least 60 days (International treks) or 30 days ( UK treks)notice *
  • Within 60-31 days (International) or 30-14 days (UK) of your trek, 50% of the total (less deposit) will be refunded *
  • Within 30 days (International) or 14 days (UK) of your trek, no refunds will be given

*no exceptions will be granted to the above policy.*

Please note: We are sorry but injury and illness do not disqualify you from any of the above cancellation policies. We are UNABLE to transfer deposits or any payments from one year to the next.

We reserve the right to cancel treks with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid to Treks & Tiaras will be refunded. Treks & Tiaras IS NOT be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or trek cancellations.

IF WE CHANGE  YOUR TRIP It will be for reasons beyond our control OR because we believe we can offer a better trip OR because, most likely, of snow or weather conditions which for reasons of safety require changes in the program. We reserve the right to make these changes but will discuss them fully with you. They are not acceptable as grounds for cancellation. No compensation wil be payable and no liability can be accepted.

INSURANCE As a condition of booking you must be adequately insured to include rescue, repatriation and all medical and hospital charges. You will be required to notify us of your insurance details prior to commencement of the trek.

THE TRIP is an adventure. It will take you to remote and exciting places where the risk of accidents and problems beyond our control is higher. For these reasons the itinerary should be seem as an aim rather than a definite objective. Your booking is accepted on condition that you realise and accept these realities of adventure trips. We undertake to fully discuss all problems with you and to seek to arrive at an acceptable solution: but we can not be held liable for any refunds.

THE TREK LEADER. By signing the booking form you agree whilst on the trip to accept the decisions of the Trek Leader who represents the company. If in their opinion your behaviour,performance or presence is detrimental to the safety and welfare of the group the leader may ask you to leave at any stage without recourse to any refunds.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. We agree to use all reasonable endeavours to provide the trip as booked. However we are not liable for any act or default or omission on the part of any suppliers of any services that we offer. In no event shall our liability to you, the client, for the any loss or damage however arising exced the price paid for the trip.

COMPLAINTS. If you have any complaint during the trip you should talk about it immediately with the trek leader or the supplier so that remediale action can be taken. If it is still unresolved to your satisfaction by the end of the holiday you should notify us in writing within 30 days of the end of your trip. We will then do our best to resolve it.
