Join us on the 27 -29th April as we climb Snowdon from the Ranger Path. The Snowdon Ranger Path provides an easy route to the summit of Snowdon, and is easily achievable by walkers of all abilities. It is probably one of the oldest routes up the mountain, and is most likely named after, John Morton one of Snowdonia's first guides, who opened the Snowdon Ranger Inn, the building at the start of the route which is now a Hostel. This may be a personal goal or to raise money for your chosen charity...
The trek is fully guided by our experienced Mountain  Leader.

Treks where the terrain could be steep and fitness is essential at this level. Such treks will usually be between 7-10hrs in duration and may involve ascents between 900—1500m. To ensure you are fit enough to undertake the trek consider building up your fitness levels by walking in your area with your walking boots, to help break in your boots as well as building up your stamina. If you can include hill walks then that would be ideal.

Arrive at  Train Station early afternoon and transfer to accommodation. Workshop mid afternoon - evening. Evening meal followed by safety briefing.

Day 2: Summit Day
After a hearty breakfast we travel to the trek start point and begin  the trek to the summit of Snowdon, following the Ranger Path, with ample opportunity to chat one to one if there is an issue you wish to explore during the trek, before descending back to our accommodation, for a rest  and then for a celebratory meal

Day 3: Summarise & Travel Home
Chance to summarise lessons learned from the trip and transfers to station onwards to home.

Please note: TREKS & TIARAS reserves the right to change the summit day, route and itinerary dependent upon the fitness of members,  safety reasons and weather conditions. Should we not be able to attempt the summit then an alternative low level route will be agreed.

Safety Considerations:
Before you start your walk up Snowdon, make sure you are properly prepared. The most important item is proper footwear.  Trainers are not suitable footwear for this path as it can become very slippery when wet.
A full kit list will be provided upon booking onto the trek.
